With a min size filter set to 500 megs, using just the word you searched for, I got 503 hits going back in time 2000 days. Ranging from 500 megs to 37 gigs. I didn't spec any groups to filter on. If I do select my related groups I get 243 going back in time 1933 days. As long as you're using a reasonably current version, your results should be identical to mine.
Make sure you're set to "internet" and "Subject Field".
Might clean out your global subject filters and see if it changes anything too.
