I just tend to add a block of files and let Newsbin sort it out.
If you pay $30 for Newsbin you basically get the key for free and a year of search attached to the key. $20 just gets you a key.
If you're still in the 15 day trial (assuming you signed up for the trial) and using 6.55, you get to use search during the trial without a sub so, I'd suggest trying it.
Look in the options for spam filtering. You probably want to check both
"Hide Spam search results" and
"Hide encrypted search results"
