It's all about feet on the ground. You might get surprisingly good performance in some areas and horrible in others (the repair isn't a shock - easily the most cpu-bound aspect of newsbin and something that desperately needs lots of cores), but just getting an android presence is awesome. Reports suggest 2014 will see half the computing devices sold being tablet /phone, and android the majority of them. Desktops will become marginalized to the pro market - the tools of hobbyists and people who need them to earn a living - and the big computing numbers will shift to the tablets/phablets. They'll get faster and faster. I suspect at some point there will be a wall that will require a completely new tech to break down, but I think tablets will be solid performers in this task.
Having said that, you can pry my workstation from my cold, dead fingers.![Smile :-)]()
